World Day of Prayer for Water - May 18th 3:38 PM EST.

Greetings!

This from the 13 Indigenous Granmothers.  On December 6th, 2009 at the last Council Meeting of the International Council of 13  Indigenous Grandmothers held in Sedona, Arizona, "a message was received to reach out to all belief systems to manifest energy for our Planetary waters on May 18th, 2010."

 

I know many of you would want to know about this very important day.  At 3:38 EST, all over the globe, people will be gathering with the intention to heal the waters of the Earth by praying, doing ceremony, sending love and gratitude for water and meditating, holding the highest vibrational intention for the planetary waters inside them. 

 

Eight specific bodies of water have been identified as being crucial to healing the earth and needing major healing.  They are:  Lake Superior, Lake Tahoe in California, Lake Titicaca in Peru, Lake MacKay in Australia, Lake Chad in Africa, Lake Baikal in Siberia, Lake Issyk-kul in Krygyzstan, and Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

 

Simultaneous ceremonies will be done in each location. Groups will be gathering along the banks of the Hudson, Mississippi, Arkansas, Colorado, Rio Grande, Green, Susape, Hood and Columbia Rivers.  Crystals have been placed in The Ganges in India, The Amazon in South America, The Nile in Africa and The Yangtze in China.

 

Some of us will be going to the ocean to pray and do ceremony.  If you feel inclined to

become part of this day of Global Healing, go to where you feel drawn or to local bodies of damaged water. The forces organizing this day ask that we send prayers and intentions to each of the 8 lakes mentioned above.  Crystals have been placed in them to create a grid so when we add our energies they will become linked together.

Long Distance Healing, it brings me closer!

Since I moved from Connecticut to Vermont I've had many requests for my shamanic work to be done long distance.  What I've found is that my work is much clearer from a distance than when I am in actual contact. I realized that when I'm working this way it is through pure energy.  There is nothing for me to see or sense in this world that could possibly alter my  thinking or perception in relation to any situation where I am asked to help.  I've always preferred to do my angel readings and healings long distance and I've worked on  cases from personal healings, to angel readings, to clearing negative entities from homes,  with much more focus . . . . because of the lack of proximity!  Even some as far away as the  U.K. 

Some practitioners are better at long distance working than others, and of course, one could argue that my move to the mountains and trees, and away from the raging and coarse energies of the coastal cities in Connecticut, helps to keep my own energy centers from being overwhelmed, hence more clarity on my part.  Whatever it may be, my own skills at long distance work are  definitely coming to the fore, and this is a reminder to all of you reading . . . that I'm still here LOLOL!!!

You haven't heard from me in a while . . .

because I was so occupied with work and other issues, and I have moved to a new location in Bridgeport, Connecticut, near the Fairfield town line.  No easy feat, let me tell you!  New classes will be posted soon, and also a workshop I am working on for sometime in June or July on crystal energy and healing the earth, with a guest teacher who specializes in crystals that I know we can all learn from.  So . . . Stay Tuned!

Last night I saw James Arthur Ray speak, you probably remember him from the movie "The Secret". I have always liked the way he translates universal principles in down to earth ways that people can understand and practice.  James truly speaks from real experience and  he is a wonderful teacher. His new book is titled "Harmonic Wealth" (he does not define wealth as money) and I do recommend reading it and applying what he says to the different areas of your life, or more appropriately, to the the different areas of your CONSCIOUSNESS!  I'll bet you didn't know he has immersed himself in shamanism, for many years, in different countries too.  I'll write more commentary on Mr. Ray's work in other postings. 

I hope you're all enjoying the onset of Spring.  The return of the outer light really helps the inner light to shine!

The Secret and Rocks, or, Thank a Rock Today!

You are probably familiar with the fact that crystals amplify energy.  Well, crystals alone are wonderful amplifiers, but did you know that any rock will also do?  Maybe not for making a radio, but what I'm saying is that all rocks naturally amplify and retain energy, or more specifically, vibrations.  Yes, rocks are wonderful helpers to us from the elemental kingdom that can amplify our thoughts, intentions and prayers, especially those made up of crystals like granite.  Those of you who have seen "The Secret" will remember the story about the "gratitude rocks" and the remarkable successes and healings the people had who used some simple rocks to sit in gratitude with.  So, what I am suggesting to you is that when you do your prayers, meditations, or other conscious manifestation techniques, that you be in the proximity of some rocks.  The closer, the better.  You can sit on one, rest your back against one, or hold one in your hand, and this will help strengthen the intentions and good feelings that you are sending out into the world.  For those of you who feel stuck at jobs that you don't like, you can keep a rock or a nice crystal at your desk, or carry one with you if you don't have a desk.  Several times during the day hold the rock and picture your life the way you want it to be, while FEELING the way you would feel in your picture.  Get in a place of feeling gratitude for this, and when you are done, don't forget to thank the rock. It is advantageous to ask the rock to help you beforehand, and then give thanks to it when you're done.  The whole process takes only a few minutes, so you can do this during the day while you are at work. 

Those of you who have taken my angel communication classes know that different archangels have an affinity for certain stones and crystals, and having these stones and crystals nearby will augment their specific energies.  But, you can also use any type of rock to assist you in easier and clearer communications during your angel communication sessions.   

Show and feel reverence for these rocks, and by using the rocks in this way, you are partaking of the love and support of our mother earth, and you are also uplifting yourself and thereby uplifting the earth as well.
